10/1: The popsicle sticks are about 9.5" long. I want a bundle of scraps probably a little longer, maybe 11". If they are too long, I can cut them shorter.
10/9: Tomorrow (10/10) I have to check the fiber configuration with the light.

We may try both misaligning the blocks along with the fibers and aligning the blocks normally while the fibers are correctly aligned.
