The fiber heating box is a large styrofoam box with a hotplate inside designed to convectively heat fibers to the appropriate bending temperature of about 175 degrees Fahrenheit.
Temperature Control Program
In order to regulate temperature in the box there are five distributed thermistors, which report the air temperature to a LabView program. Instructions and program logic can be found on Temperature Control Program
